We’re always on the lookout for friendly faces to help us sort and prepare our material aid bags. It’s simple, meaningful work that creates an immediate, positive impact for families who need it most.
And in Shepparton, we’re lucky to have an incredible team of volunteers whose energy and dedication have become a treasured part of the local community.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your time could truly make a difference, we can promise you, it absolutely does.
At the Caroline Chisholm Society Child Safety is of utmost importance to us. In order to volunteer with us we require a valid Working with Chldren Check and a Police Check that is within 6 months.
If you dont have a police check, we can help with your application.

What Volunteering Feels Like at Caroline Chisholm Society
Volunteering with the Caroline Chisholm Society is all about rolling up your sleeves, connecting with good people, and making a real difference for families who need a fresh start. Our volunteers help sort, organise, and prepare essential items that go directly into the hands of pregnant women and young families. It’s practical, meaningful work — and you can see the impact immediately.
You’ll be part of a warm, supportive team where every contribution matters. Alongside our regular material‑aid roles, we also offer a range of seasonal and special volunteer opportunities throughout the year, from our annual Santa Shop to family group activities and more.
Whether you’re packing baby bundles, organising donated goods, or jumping in to help at one of our community events, you’re playing a vital role in creating safety, dignity, and hope for families rebuilding their lives.
